Again, totally fine. But, it's disingenuous to say one can't afford it, when they vacation during the year. In a lot of cases, one CAN afford it, they just choose to not sacrifice their other vacation.
That's why the "soccer is too expensive" and "the travel is unnecessary" crowd loses a lot of credibility.
Really don’t see why you have this all this vitriol
..... disingenuous? Lose credibility ?
Are you ok? It seems your kinda bent
I can buy a Ferrari but choose not to...
I can afford a home in Sands Point but live in Bayside....
I can eat at Lugers every night but I choose not too
But i feel they are too EXPENSIVE even though I can afford them. Same as the Soccer
Soccer might come first in your priorities , but it really seems your one of the Soccer “sheep” parents who hit the Kool Aid hard
All of these sports today have become glorified babysitting which you pay for.
Your just the one of the loser parents that most stay away from. Always pushing your views on everyone... can’t stand them

We find a way to. My wife and I haven't been on a vacation together in quite a few years. We won't for quite a few more.
As has been mentioned, we sacrificed other activities to structure vacation time about tournaments and showcases. Made the most of it.
So, to your point, other choices have been negatively impacted, but the positive of this far outweighs those negatives.
