Last night I texted a parent that I know @NYCFC GDA, and I flat-out asked her what the situation is with the future of the teams. She said that there has been very little response from K. about the future. His health is obviously paramount here, but he is the leader of this club, and his other coaches are not filling in the blanks, probably because they don’t know either. She said that they are already exploring her daughters options for next fall. Her daughter and her teammates have this growing sense of doom, that no matter what happens, the current teams will not stay together, which is a shame because her kid really likes her teammates. She also said there was a serious risk that none of the teams will attend the GDA playoffs, if NYCFC GDA folds at the end of the spring season....

Originally posted by unregistered View Postif her daughter is in the 03 or 04 age groups, they don’t have to worry. Other than that, they should probably look elsewhere unless they originally came from wc. Those players will be welcomed back. This is coming from a very solid source.

Sky Blue falling apart. Written up over the summer as being the worst team to play for in the NESL, Katie Johnson demanding to be traded, top 2 draft picks say they won’t play for them and now Christina Gibbons retires at 24 years old. They will fold before the season starts

My daughter is on the 04 NT, and she thinks ECNL is definitely the B league, hope ya’ll survive each other, bye bye....
