1. Wins - may or may not matter
2. Commit lists - has no bearing on you
3. Number of college coaches at showcase - so irrelevant. tail wagging dog. if you are really good, coaches will flock to see you. so find a place you can become your best
4. YNT call ups - again, this is not relevant to most and often not a good indicator of the quality of coaching at any club.
what people dont seem to do
1. look at the say 6 recent graduates from a club . top 2 mid 2 bottom 2. How are they doing in College? are they happy? are they well prepared for the game and college in general? do they play a lot? If the goal is to match kids with the "right" schools then surely this is something we should look at.
2. Leave a club that is not delivering
3. be honest about thier kids goals and ability to achieve them
until people start being honest about what they want to get from this and stop looking at it like a luxury disposable good, nothing will change . Until people are held accountable for real performance vs expectations, nothing will change.
parents continue to let the Clubs lie to them about most of the things that matter. i allowed it for about 2 years and then realized i had it all wrong
Good Luck

the only complaint can be from other clubs who are beating up on bad teams and then resent having to travel. simple solution, tell the coach you are to going to go or suck it up and work on your weaker foot only. Use it as a chance to improve weak parts of your game.
the funny thing about the people who complain about beating up bad teams is there are always going to be players out there better than your kid. To complain about people being worse is pretty stupid. for most of them, if/when they get to College, they are going to get beat up pretty good by the better teams. ive watched many kids who came from weaker teams go to schools and the boot is suddenly on the other foot.

This is coming from a soon to be former Fury club.
