Funny, I think I know who this is as well. Says he know everyone, complains about everyone.
Am I right or am I right?

You are stupid. Plenty of parents admit it. They may allow their kids to play up for various reasons including -Would their kid prefer to be the best player on a weak team and be challenged to get better or if offered the opportunity to play with players better than them with supposedly better training. Alternatively, bring the best player on a team but not be challenged. Everyone is different.
However, you are an obnoxious jerk to bash the players and parents. Worry about your own kid and take off the rose colored glasses regarding yourself and your kid.

I'm sure you shi# on this comment but I know several GDA players who weren't even on their HS varsity teams. Don't you think the supposed top league in the area should have players who aren't JV level?
It depends on the quality of kids in the town and size of the high school. So not a fair comment.

Whether a kid sucks or not is irrelevant. It’s not ethical for a club to ask players to give up high school for GDA and not give them the option to join after the hs season is over but make exceptions” for the “chosen ones” who join- return after HS and take away playing time from those who did not play HS. It creates a bad culture. Along the same lines, if players miss practice they shouldn’t play.

Stay away from clubs that do that stuff. It tells you all you need to know about them.

Not the poster but you completely ignored the hypocrisy of banning HS play then turning around and allowing it for some. Either have the rule and enforce it or don't even bother. Its one of if many reasons why some GDA clubs and even the league haven't garnered any respect.

All clubs in the NE GDA do it with the exception of NYCFC and LISC

Is that a new thing at LISC? There were definitely kids that played on my kid's JV team that played at LISC

No she told my kid development academy and told her she should try out. It was a while ago though, that's why I was asking if that was a new policy.

I believe that NYCFC doesn't do it, but not sure about LISC. I know of a player that last year played both hs and for LISC during the fall season.

Then why not have your player just play HS and then join later? Don't have her resenting not playing HS. Why? Just play it.

Can't speak for others but I don't know anyone that cares too much if some other kid does or does not want to play HS soccer. People have enough to do figuring out their own players situation. Who has time or energy to focus on what others are doing?

Coach was telling kids a couple months ago that they can play HS this year. Is this the club saying this is OK or is this the DA?
