I never said I was a GDA-fan. That's the problem with the ECNL crowd...they got such wood they aren't even listening.
I only commented that a suggestion one made earlier is one implemented. The reality is our USWNT is falling apart due to their lack of progress in their development over the last 10 years. If nobody wants to buy in, they can't make them. Doesn't directly affect me, I'm not (nor a parent of) a NT player and won't be.

You see, the OP didn't say anything about how to do it...just that what they (with their own admitted unknowledgeable eyes) say isn't working.
For the same reason why I'm standing at the mechanic telling them they should be using a Snap-On wrench instead of the Craftsmen he's holding....
I hope you live up to your expectations for soccer fans in the rest of your daily activities and never comment on anything if you are not a so-called "expert".

I referenced food before so same thing, I am no chef but if I go to a steak house and order a rare steak and get well done I am going to say something. I don't need to be an expert to see if something works or not but agree to make it work you need to be knowledgeable.

I tell my employees they can vent all they want. But, if you want change, be the leader. Advocate for something, otherwise it's just a vent. And it will be reacted to accordingly (i.e. far in the wind).
I get it...it's good to get something off your chest once in a while. But it's also met with a chuckle when the person getting it off his chest admittedly knows nothing about the game.

I am referring to the methodology and mission. 100% not saying GDA is a success, only that they have made an attempt to standardize their methods in an effort to get a consistent style (as was the original point made that I responded to) that can be repeatable and reportable throughout all the clubs who adhere to it.
The idea has merit. I just don't see it ever coming to fruition.

If your daughter wants to play in the NWSL then GDA is the way to go. If your kid wants to use soccer as an avenue to get into college, then ECNL or NL are your choices. It’s so simple it’s scary. Find a club your kid is happy with and enjoy geez

What is it with some of you and HS? You lose your absolute marbles with it. Dang, it's this constant fretting over HS soccer as some meaningful journey that just loses the entire plot. Does the yearbook picture really mean that much?
