Just heard that some NYSC players are going to STA’s GDA. Wow, wonder how that will play out. I hope they are ready for the abode they will suffer at the hands of Shawn Cryer. I actually don’t know anyone who thinks he is a good person. Good luck to those families

More dilution. Blame US Soccer. Top girls won’t get better this way. In a handful years our Women’s NT will fall out of the top ten.

I don’t get it, unless the NYSC players are from NJ or Rockland, why would they make the switch? I could understand moving to NYCFC/WC, because that is a step-up in both training and competition, but STA???

probably depends on what players you're talking about. If they're strong they can move up to stronger clubs; if they're not, then....Some NYCFC players want to stay in GDA so NYSC can probably get some of them, meaning some players will get cut.

Yeah, that's more of an suburban myth, VERY few, if any making that switch. Better to be on any NYCFC/WC ECNL2 team than any NYSC GDA team. As much as it pains me to say that, it just is....

Not sure why anyone would go to STA at this moment. There are a few NJ kids on the NYSC rosters, but even those kids should be concerned about the validity of STA’s teams, especially with Cryer in charge. We had the unfortunate displeasure of playing one of his teams a few years ago. The man is abusive to his players, refs and opposing coaches.

This year? Sean is coach of both ECNL and NPL 03 teams. Coaching assignments have not been made for next year yet.

Coach Kaz will be the head coach of the 03 team with a yet to be named assistant. Sean will be moving to a younger age group. Fredy will have the 04’s

Not any longer, not sure if he was fired or if he left. He announced he is at STA now as the DOC
