Here is the thing. When PDA was in the GDA, they picked up everyone's best players in their area. Then PDA decided, you know what, GDA sucks, ECNL is really the right place to be and everyone went back to ECNL. In our area, NYSC, NYCFC, World Class, EM, Alby and Fury are all telling the parents that their league is best. The talent is so split that we do not have great teams. We have decent teams with a few really good players scattered about.
For us, the fact that NYCFC is saying,' you know what, this GDA thing doesn't work, we're joining WC because that's the best league for girls on the east coast', speaks volumes to us. They tried it and saw the demise and got out.Comment
