From elsewhere - the NW had already been bleeding.
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostGDA in the Northwest region is officially dead. Eastside FC, which runs Seattle Reign GDA, has decided to join ECNL next year.
Reign GDA started as a partnership between two youth clubs, Seattle United and Eastside FC. Seattle United left the partnership and joined ECNL last year. Now with Eastside abandoning Reign for GDA, Reign GDA looks dead in the water. All the top clubs in the Northwest are now part of ECNL.

Another solution is to keep a GDA like league but make it infinitely smaller and at little or no cost to players (subsidized by USSF). That's what USSF should have done in the first place but instead tried to steal ECNL's enchilada
