No one wants to pay for that. It is expensive for the coaching, travel, facilities, etc. Unfortunately, there is not money at the top of the sport to finance all that.

We all pay for it already. Every single player who plays in a US Soccer sanctioned league that gets carded pays money to US Soccer through carding fees. That means every ECNL, AYSO, US Youth, US DA, US Club, etc.; player is paying US Soccer a fee.

Not sure that is true. If it happens they will have conceded the point that HS is more important than they thought before. It is ok to course correct once in a while.

Lets Put this another way....We are a money/profit (wins/losses) driven society...not a development driven.....there is a big difference.
