they kinda look like every other soccer club around here for girls. meh. find one that does not fall under that description. wish it were otherwise.

Very low tryout numbers at the NYCFC too ..... GDA not a major attraction around here, I guess (that and that most of the older kids were content in their league (ECNL or NPL ... tough sell late in the club career to get them to move) .... same was true at Oakwood in CT for the past 2 years .... very few outsiders tried out and most were very low level. It was very surprising.

I’m hearing that there is real discontent from many NYCFC families, many believe that Sinister forces have taken advantage of the absence of their DOC. The process is early, but the words (No Spots) on certain average ECNL teams. Honestly doesn’t matter which one, as it’s all-for-one now. Was told that free and fair merging would take place. If the DA girls are not offered (equal) opportunity to compete for spots, then these last 18 months have been a sham, but that’s just what I heard.

You’re not hearing that from families in the 03 age group, that is for sure. Other age groups may have concerns because there is a lot of competition from the ECNL teams. The 05’s played before us on Sunday, and the WC group next was obviously more skilled and probably have a better team.

oh there is much to complain about. Misleading kids to sell stuff - you will gets lots of complaints.

I heard that there 05 encl. girls are pretty good, my kids an 04, so for us its cloudy.
