Well done job identifying your kid. You further prove that GDA or WC didn't make her the player she is, it just put on a few finishing touches

Are any of the NYCFC players going out to the finals in June? I know they fall during Regents week, so if they pull out, that isn’t a problem anymore. I’m sure by June. Most will know if they will be moving to WC or another GDA club, so will they roster with the team they are moving to? to get some playing time in front of college coaches?

Great question, at this point I think its 50/50 that they field a team for that, not even sure how many go to Colorado.

Will they even be eligible? Last year, the older team opted out. They saw the writing on the wall as they were good in a weak division. Why waste the money?

You mean take playing time from the existing players that were on the team all year? If you would like to completely piss off all the players on your new team, then join late in the year and immediately go to a show and use playing time.

If you're a senior and recruited why would you go to CA for the finals never mind if the club is falling apart?! Those still in recruit mode absolutely should take advantage of CO however.
Those who know where they're going might not be able to play with their new clubs in June because of deadlines for roster add-ons for both GDA and ECNL. Another reason to go to CO now to get exposure in whenever you can. Hopefully they can play without heavy hearts and make the best of the situation.

There's that and it should be avoided for sure. Talk about a toxic situation. But also for DA you can't add new players to your roster after mid April. I'm pretty sure ECNL has a similar rule. So teams with recruit age players should go to CO.

So what if you are a senior and recruited. You took a position. You took some else's spot. You told the club and the team that you would play for them. Another kid may have helped you get recruited by showing up when she didn't have to. Why wouldn't you do it for someone else in your club?
Soccer has become a team sport that isn't really about the team concept. That's the real problem.

You pull up kids from younger teams if you have to.

And what about those teams? This is completely disruptive to the team chemistry.

That gets tricky with the costs involved. I would love to help out every kid on the team but we are all mostly struggling to even finance even our own kids.

Why do you guys stand for this crap? What happened to strength in numbers? Is there a team captain?
