Reminder- the majority of these coaches especially at PDA have not finished HS and did not attend college. Many didn’t even play soccer professionally. So any feedback must be taken with that in mind. Why is it that the trainers and coaches coming from difficult African backgrounds found a way to an education here but the English did not? And why do none of them work for the big clubs?

These old men uneducated ECNL creeps should not be around little girls. The parents need to take a closer look at the child’s behavior changes at these elite “clubs”.

Are you saying that NH poached all those players, and he still doesn't have a team to beat the MF team?

NH needs to worry less about recruiting and more about developing the talent that’s walking out on him. That guy changes lineups, formations, and tactics more than most people change their television channels.

Almost every coach on the PDA website lists college playing experience in their bio, so presumably they finished HS and attended college.

I've met a lot of Caribbean coaches, but no African coaches.

Really? I would think that the lack of a guaranteed spot next year would be more of a motivator to play better. You know, like colleges, pro and Euro academies do. But no, you are right. Coddle them and hand them all trophies so everyone can feel better.

Some players are the biggest, fastest and strongest in the u7-u14 ages and then...they aren't. It is a fact of life. Some don't practice at home or don't work on needed things like on their weakness or weak foot and they are soon caught by those that did. Some never move from a position and don't transition very well when moved rom striker to outside or defense. It happens and anyone that has been around soccer on either side at any level can see it.

Why do people think that if they played pro they must be great coaches or trainers or if they didn't play college they shouldn't be at all? Being pro is great but doesn't mean you know what is best for all types of players. Most apply what they went through which doesn't suit most players they work with. God forbid when Carli Lloyd retires and starts coaching. Doesn't matter how good any of the teams are or if they even get into college soccer. They'll pay $3k+ for a mid tier EDP team just to say they trained with her.

These aren’t trainers/coaches. They are skilled recruiters. Big difference.

Don’t presume anything. Just ask them. They are honest about it.

In fact they will actually trash one another saying - what do you expect- he didn’t finish HS etc. there is also internal politics among the coaches like anywhere. They will knock their mate down in a second.
