Why not have a top tier level league, such as ECNL; A mid tier level league, such as EDP USYS and lower leagues such as EDP MAPS or MCYSA or NCSANJ that is more local? Why do we have to have more leagues that promote the same thing we have already, but never really deliver on what they promise?

There are teams in EDP 1st Div that can literally compete with great teams from the best leagues.

How about these clubs excel in the leagues they were in before creating a new one and declaring it one of the top in the country. ECNL earned it's right to call itself the best. Sure they have some low hanging fruit that can be picked off by top EDP or former GDA teams but until ENCL creates a relegation system they aren't moving. The GA, once it added the Ukies, showed they were more concerned about warm bodies then actual ability. Your club can have all the intentions in the world of training the proper way but if you don't have the talent to use it what good is it to the rest of the division to play you? You could even say that playing in a league that has various styles of play is more beneficial. Players would need to adjust their game against kick and run teams and possession teams. Instead GA wants 1 style. Which, coupled with their over management of players, will be their undoing just like GDA.
name" still stinks. By the way I looked up the team Cleveland FC ,a DA team, that got chosen for the ECRL... They are advertising it big time but if you look closely, its for their second team. Just click on academy boys and girls and see what they replace the DA with... yes thats right, The GAL...Its great marketing for these teams to be in both the GAL and the ECRL...a win win for the clubs B team. Just like it's a win win for the ECNL clubs B team.... What you have to hope is that the GAL falls apart and the girls have no choice but the ECRL. No player and parent is going to leave the GAL for the ECRL at this point unless they want play high school and they are just a cut below and cannot replace an ECNL player on ant team.

Im not sure whats so hard to understand? They have been trying to do this for years. "a rose by any other

But still though, just because clubs in this area will not be moving to ECNL due to PDA doesn't mean the creation of GA is a better solution. Still the same average to above average teams the GDA had except the strongest moved to ECNL. Those clubs that started the GA wanted to continue to be able to charge players a premium which they couldn't have done had they moved back to USYS/EDP. Now that clubs have more control over what they offer for this "elite" league expect more promises and less return. 4 nights of practice...well maybe 3 this week or we are only going to do 2. GA lost respect when it brought in the Ukrainian teams. Weak teams across the board in EDP, so what made them special other than being across the street from Bucks and friends with GDA DOCs? PSA, Philly Coppa and Europa FC all have better teams then them.

Cleveland Force (not Cleveland FC) might be putting their 2nd teams in ECRL. If those teams dominates and Cleveland Force gets accepted into ECNL, then if they put that 2nd team in ECNL it will be an indication that they think GAL is superior. If those 2nd teams do not dominate ECRL, then they won't earn ECNL.
