Keep seeing that PDA Shore is playing in ECRL but can't seem to find any information or announcement of that. Last I saw they were still playing in the made up Alliance League and EDP.

Ok unless something changes drastically, New club teams are putting their 2nd team into the ECRL. They view as a foot hold in and it is great for marketing.

If this is 100% the future for ECNL I don’t see GAL being long term option for girls U13 or younger.

Altruistically, it makes sense to have competition but human nature wants to create monopolies. Either way the east coast landscape is screwed because even if invited I doubt CSA or STA or SJEB would accept. I would think that they don't trust the ECNL on the east coast. They would probably find themselves a member of the regional league forever no matter how well they did in competition. -unless of course the evaluation was objective.

GAL will work for these older teams about to go to college but long term with younger players it’s really not the best path for an elite player.
