Sounds like wishful thinking from someone going back to a certain coach. 😉

Should have never left. Big mistake leaving. STA not an option for D1 players

D1 players play for their colleges / universities. Why would they want to play for ANY youth soccer club? They wouldn’t be allowed to. I’m genuinely confused by your comment. 🤷*♂️

They mean hs players that are hoping to play D1 not current D1 players.

Much better chance to play D1 if developed by SC over playing for a bloated club whose training is subpar. Do you think college coaches will be easy on you???

Agree that SC might be a good trainer. Results of teams he has trained are very good indeed. Fact that girls followed him from Stallions to STA and now to his new place shows that people who know him well value him, which is a great compliment.

              But cons are:
              -Poor/abusive behaviour.
-Likely that his club teams will be playing EDP/USYS, not ECNL/GA.
-New club. No stability. That matters in this already unstable environment. Might not be able to form teams and might disband. I would prefer a club that will keep running even if one or two coaches leave.

Net net, I think he could be great for a select few but not for all.

For me, negatives outweigh the positives.

Got out at right time this new GA league will be subpar to whatever the girls play in with SC. Plus to be honest it does not matter the league if the training and level of play is good that’s all that matters and colleges will appreciate that.

Where are his high school-aged teams going to be playing to be seen by college coaches?

OK SC. Thanks for that piece of info. Keep dreaming that platform is not important for older teams.

😂 You’re too much. You start by saying that the GA league will be below the level of ‘whatever league SC’s teams play in.’ Then follow it up by saying the league level doesn’t matter, and all colleges care about is the training.

Colleges care about what they see when they come to watch teams / players. They also care about relationships they have with clubs and their coaches.

My question to you...will college coaches be coming to see these Dynamite teams play in the same capacity as the GA teams in games / showcases? 90% of the teams from the GDA are staying together in the GA league. College coaches will go where the talent is. What showcases are lined up for Dynamite teams? In those showcases, what bracket do you think you’ll be delighted?

Lastly, any response to SC’s checkered past of abusive behavior and toxicity?

This fight is so funny. Both sides have flaws.

However if you think GAL is going to be the Mecca of flocking coaches because of GAL you really need to wake up. It’s the secondary league and STA has never development any elite talent. Most have already left as well. Long road ahead for STA.

It’s a long slippery road for every club in NJ besides PDA. What is your criteria of great training and elite talent. If we are going to pass judgement on clubs and say college coaches will not look at STA or the other clubs in this league then let’s look at college commitments for 2020 and beyond. You have first and foremost PDA and then you have everyone else. SEB, STA, etc. you could mix them into the same bowl. Let’s be real SJEB parents don’t throw your elite training into the faces of everyone when it comes down to college commits.

STA can’t go by 2020 and beyond. Their best girls were developed by WC, PDA and Stallions.

Let’s see what they do with the 06 group which was also all talent recruited in to STA. The only talented STA girls coach works with the goalies. They need more like him.

By the time the girls are actually playing, fights over ecnl vs ga vs edp vs npl will seem meaningless. This may be the event that forces the change everyone’s been expecting or hoping for over the past 3-4 years.
