Agree that SC might be a good trainer. Results of teams he has trained are very good indeed. Fact that girls followed him from Stallions to STA and now to his new place shows that people who know him well value him, which is a great compliment.
But cons are:
-Poor/abusive behaviour.
-Likely that his club teams will be playing EDP/USYS, not ECNL/GA.
-New club. No stability. That matters in this already unstable environment. Might not be able to form teams and might disband. I would prefer a club that will keep running even if one or two coaches leave.
Net net, I think he could be great for a select few but not for all.
For me, negatives outweigh the positives.

Colleges care about what they see when they come to watch teams / players. They also care about relationships they have with clubs and their coaches.
My question to you...will college coaches be coming to see these Dynamite teams play in the same capacity as the GA teams in games / showcases? 90% of the teams from the GDA are staying together in the GA league. College coaches will go where the talent is. What showcases are lined up for Dynamite teams? In those showcases, what bracket do you think you’ll be delighted?
Lastly, any response to SC’s checkered past of abusive behavior and toxicity?

This fight is so funny. Both sides have flaws.
However if you think GAL is going to be the Mecca of flocking coaches because of GAL you really need to wake up. It’s the secondary league and STA has never development any elite talent. Most have already left as well. Long road ahead for STA.

If we are going to pass judgement on clubs and say college coaches will not look at STA or the other clubs in this league then let’s look at college commitments for 2020 and beyond. You have first and foremost PDA and then you have everyone else. SEB, STA, etc. you could mix them into the same bowl. Let’s be real SJEB parents don’t throw your elite training into the faces of everyone when it comes down to college commits.
Let’s see what they do with the 06 group which was also all talent recruited in to STA. The only talented STA girls coach works with the goalies. They need more like him.

By the time the girls are actually playing, fights over ecnl vs ga vs edp vs npl will seem meaningless. This may be the event that forces the change everyone’s been expecting or hoping for over the past 3-4 years.
