What about NEFC and Oakwood? EDP level teams? What about the other teams outside of the division, that they will play at the Regional and National Events?

I really dislike using the word ‘hater,’ but some of you guys are just so transparent about it. If you’re daughter is going to ply EDP next year, that’s great. Enjoy. But let’s not pretend the 2 leagues are even remotely comparable.

You can't be serious? EDP will be the top draw league for all Non-ECNL players. I am very surprised that STA would continue the charade of being an Elite Club. Come on, you're less than an hour away from PDA, you're never gonna compete with them and their 18 teams

Great news playing against Seacoast and LI SC! Pure B League with immense traveling. Better off in EDP.

Completely agree that EDP 1st Div would be a better choice. And a lot of the teams and players in that league are a lot better than crappy clubs like LISC and Seacoast, with CSA Bergen being borderline at best....I mean you want to beat teams 10-0! You think that’s competitive??

We did beat some of these teams by quite a wide margin, the nice thing is the girls pile up some nice stats and get noticed because of it. So I’m ok with playing weaker competition.

ECNL the is same way. Some really bad teams for the last couple of years. Hopefully the changes make it stronger now.

Why do STA have their boys program in one league and their girls in another? Got to think STA are desperate to get into the ECNL on the girls side but unfortunately the application process requires history of player development.

The ECNL application process does not require a history of development. If it did, Matchfit would not be in the ECNL. What it requires is for the current member clubs to vote a new club in.

You do realize that at one time MF had very strong players who got them into ECNL. Those players are on the women's advisory board for MF now

Hopefully they were better players then what they have done as advisors. It’s been dreadful at this club for many years now. It’s really a shame.

Do you even have to ask?? The ECNL NJ Mafia won't allow any other team who might compete join.. its very sad that MFA and PDA control the ECNL so much that no other team can join the league in their area. It's sad that ecnl lets them get away with it. Shame on you ECNL!! STA has proven time and time again that they would compete at that level.
