They had to get more talent for DA. STA just didn't have it for DA level soccer. They got what they wanted. Tried to make it work with him. SC couldn't zip it on sidelines. Parents of struggling kids jumped in along with legit complaints by other parents, US Soccer wasn't going to tolerate it, STA staff of coaches didn't want him in the first place as well. Recipe for disaster.
Hey but STA added much needed talent to 06, 05 and 04 DA from bringing in SC. Almost kept the future stud 07s and 08s as well. Some top end players in those age groups gone. Hopefully SC develops and they come back to STA.
Just for the record, Cryer had nothing to do with the 06s. If anything there is 1 girl that came from Agame but she was coming with or without Cryer. No one else had any affiliation with Cryer. Just sayin

If a DA coach is not willing to conform to US Soccer’s guide on how coaches conduct themselves on the sidelines, they’re not going to last long.
STA has a very good relationship with US Soccer. They had a bunch of girls in YNT camps and training centers recently. There’s no way they would put that relationship in jeopardy over SC.

No club should put up with that. I have a buddy I played with for years who is a smaller-school D1 boys' coach, and when he hears crap from a coach, player, or parent, he moves along. He just eliminates that entire group from consideration. There's more than enough players to fill the void. While he won't go as far as to black mark an entire organization, they are on thin ice and he's not willing to give any benefit of the doubt.
Like the WC Girls Director. He's made a mess of several situations and schools are turned off by him. Well-meaning families suffer as a result.

Could be wrong but didn't two of the US NTC 06 girls play at Stallions? For sure at least handful played at Stallions before.
The 1 NTC 06 plays on the 05s. Some of the 06s played on Stallions for NM and followed him to PSA then to STA

Another Clueless STA parent. If SC was still coaching they would have had at least 4 more goals. Its all going downhill now
