But at $3000 per registration, all
The time and money spent on taking our kids to games and practices plus the hotels and air fare it’s nit just youth soccer. It’s a huge expense and commitment to our families and we should get what we paid for.

If we don’t there should be some way for us to have some recourse action

You need to leave the organization and not give them business if they engage in fraudulent activities like bait and switch.

Youth soccer is chock full of sleaze...do your homework.

      It’s the whole industry.

Psa stopped putting details in their contracts because they don’t want to
Leave a trail of the lies they tell parents.

      Industry regulation is needed.

Matchfit puts 30 players on the roster and moves them to
      Whatever team They want.

But when parents pay the registration they are all told they are on the ecnl team.

And how does that solve the problem. All it does is allow them to continue to do it to others. If we as parents don’t stand up together we all lose

I’m not an sc supporter but families chose to come to sta to play for him then they were mistreated by this. Bait and switch:

I bet if they all got together and sued JN would give them
Their money back. He wouldn’t want to risk going to court and losing. Because if he did it would set a precedence. If you change the coach ( which seems to happen everywhere) then the players are entitled to a refund and free to leave.

It would turn the industry upside down.

Right now there is no governing this industry and the owners do as they please.

Regulation is needed. It’s big business now and all the power rests with management and the consumers ( you and I) have almost no rights

Yea they chose STA to follow Cryer but Cryer is no longer there because of Cryer. You can blame Tim or STA all you want but SC and his antics are to blame. NM also came over to STA and many parents followed him. But NM doesn't conduct himself in the way SC does and there is no issue with NM leaving

              Yes. Individually it’s a small
              Claims suit.

Collectively it’s a large financial suit with lawyers arguing the case and it will get publicity that the industry does not want.

You see if people who are not involved in soccer gear what’s taking place they will be outraged
              Because we are all
Involved were accepted it as normal. This is far from normal
              Business practice in real life

This is just market driven business, period. Nothing else. the customers need to spend their money at the organizations offering the product they desire.

Ask for your money back and leave. Simple.

So if you are correct , what did cryer do to get fired. Also they knew who they were hiring when they hired him. From all accounts he was very mello this season for him .

FYI NM worked for JN training company for years

Also he worked for psa for 2 years prior to coming to sta
                      Far from same situation

If Tim tried this with him Tim would get fired.

                      During him
Mid season is a slap in the face to every parent that came to sta for him to coach their daughter. It’s a total disregard to their families.

So please take your nose out of Tims butt , clean the brown stuff off and see what this was in real life

                      A power play. Tom
Was afraid shaun was going to eclipse him once nm got his a license and he wasn’t needed anymore

Another FYI nm and sc are best of friends

Not the OP, but what are the damages? What in the contract is not being delivered and what financial (or other) hardship are you under?

How you people are twisting this is unbelievable. There was no bait and switch, just a psycho coach not being able stay employed by yet another club. Look at his track record. Stop making Cryer out to be the victim. Stop making him a martyr. Yes the parents who followed him are getting somewhat screwed but that is Cryers fault. Drama always follows him whether he is a good coach or not. If he conducted himself in a professional manner this would not have happened. Parents are still getting what they paid for at the club that they signed up for. In the end if they want to follow Cryer to Dynamo they can. If they want to stay STA they can. If they want to go to another club they can

Is the contract the player/parent signed with the club or the coach? Does it even reference the coach in the contract?

If you purchase a product and you don’t get what is promised the law allows you return it for a refund.

If I paid to have sc coach my daughter and for whatever reason( except if he got sick or quit) he is removed from
The team I should recieve a refund for the time he is not going to be there.

This should be for any coach.

Ahh you can call them best friends but it was only a few years ago that SC screwed NM over at Stallions. SC is a POS
