We received a recruiting email today from SC saying, in part: "I am moving my teams (including the 08’s) in to my own club under the Dynamite Academy Banner starting in the Fall season. "

My daughter is an '08. Funny thing is, she hasn't played for any of the teams being discussed here and actually quit soccer after last Spring season to focus on other activities. Not sure how we got on his contact list.

Sorry no skin in this game anymore but club rankings for Girls Soccer:

1. PDA
2. STA (could change after Spring)
3. WC (let’s see how losing DA kids works out this Spring)
4. CSA (losing CN hurt fall season. More of the same for Spring)
5. MF (not even close to moving up the rankings)

It’s just the truth. You can measure talent, development, coaches, direction of club, director, cost, success and future potential and it would be very hard to move this list. Maybe switch WC and STA.

The club will be based and play out of the Nutley and Wayne two areas on high quality Turf Fields. It will be my top group that was at the NJ Stallions and State cup runners up this past Fall.

ps I have no skin in this game. I didn't even know who SC was until I googled him today after seeing the email, wondering why we had gotten it. The thread makes for an entertaining read....for a while.

It’s a time filler.

Seems like the deal is done in SCs eyes. Moving all his teams. Imagine all the current 05s, 07s and 08s at STA have met and decided to go with him. Big statement of this hasn’t been agreed upon.

So assuming this email is true, and I do mainly because of how troubling it would be for someone to make it up, does anyone know what happened with SC and STA?

If it was his plan to start his own club I doubt that he’d leave in December on his own. Did STA get wind of it or did something else happen?

Something clearly happened here. It is really bad timing for both parties. STA have to replace SC and convince his players to stay when he was the draw. For SC makes no sense to move on six months into a new job. Sucks for the players as well as they had a coach committed to development and now will get second rate coaching to go with the second rate league they play in.

Again if the league is 2nd rate why are there hundreds( yes hundreds) of D1 college coaches at every major event?

In fact there are better coaches coming to penn fusion showcase than attended Disney this past weekend.

Pda May be the best club in nj but if you put them up against the best in da they aren’t . Which is one of the reasons they left da. They were act at best in da.
