Who do you think you are posting to on this forum. You keep using the word "you". Do you think coaches for the club are on this? And if you did why not speak directly to them rather than come on here with these scattershot theories? I assumed you were a coward and just posted stuff for the drama, but you seem to be putting in way to much work to get deadlines for stuff.

You even mention GotSoccer lol, which most people forgot about when their kids turned 11.

I think that STA is a very good club but there are signs that, after its change in ownership, it is heading down the path of MFA. Lure people in with the shiny ECNL or DA badges, cash their checks, and treat them like crap. And it won’t matter because several more will be standing in line, hypnotized by the pretty badge.

If your entire life is about chasing rosters and game reports you should get out of youth sports and join the feds. Literally, all of these sites depend on manual data entry, don’t have any means if synchronization. On top of that, gotsoccer is just a joke site so people can advertise and suckers can chase a bunch of meaningless points. The GDA is fairly accurate- but you have already demonstrated you don’t know how to read GDA rules or the game reports. No one here will help you do that homework.

Don’t believe what’s on the sites, if you need - ask your coach. That will be your best bet to see their character.

What I ask you is where does your kid play? Can't be PDA because PDA parents don't waste their time worrying about STA rosters. That is just not true. You have listed 4 independent organizations which don’t have a common standard for data exchange and each can choose to use a different registration system.

On top of that gotsoccer is just a machine for trolls and poachers. Not a single self-respecting coach or parent will decide to make the data there current and accurate.

I ask out of curiosity about who my daughter will be playing against because the players she faced last year went DA. Not that it really matters in the end because they did pretty well against those players last season.

My kids are not at STA and my kids have never been at STA, but played against STA. Never had a trolling need to look at gotsoccer roster to see who my kids team would play against. Creepy and helicoptering. Just hope for a good competitive game.

If you are going to some research, make sure you do it correctly and make sure its accurate. 10 minutes of my time revealed multiple roster errors between atleast 3 non-PSA affiliated clubs in NY/NJ. And before you question my findings, I know the kids and their correct clubs for this season (some even left in the Spring of last season). Forget about the countless clubs & teams that haven’t even uploaded rosters. So much for your STA conspiracy...

Poor Tim. He had this club, that never had parents complaining or bickering with everyone. He takes in the former NYCFC parents, and this board lights up, while it seems the NY GDA thread simmers down. Seems like there is a common group of troublesome parents. Good Luck Tim.
