Agreed. The GDA playoffs last year were great and were very well attended. Many schools are not attending both showcases. It's too expensive on their budgets.

I call it even. What I find interesting is that it appears to me that the regular season events draw in more coaches.

No other league, or tournament comes close. Which leads me to ask if your daughter truly isnt good enough or interested in Div 1 soccer why commit the time to DA or ECNL? The D2 and D3 coaches all attend the college showcase tournaments that the non ecnl and non da teams all attend. Its a head scratcher for sure.

B) the only true numbers that should be used for comparison is: the coaches who show up at ‘my kids game’ from year to year for same team, similar event
C) some coaches show up for a part of the game
D) colleges send coaches or assistants to observe ‘their commits’
E) the number of coaches is proportional to the level of competition in the game

The numbers show that the coaches dont value one event over the other and that they are recruiting both leagues. They also show that there is a clear top 2 and not a cose 3rd.
