They advertise national team players who weren't developed by the club as a way to lure families who don't know any better and then hype up twelve year olds with media days saying they're next.

Meanwhile the talent they draw gets worse every day due to the lack of training and the teams peak early and get progressively worse when the recruiting window opens. Just look at the 2007 team that was once relevant but now needs a 2009 player to barely qualifies for an early exit from nationals.

When I saw the first hire for the shore branch was a marketing guy instead of a coach I knew it was more smoke and mirrors.

Anyone realize that MFA shore always post about the same teams - 2013, 2011, 2010 and 2009 …. If you are not on one of those teams, you are meaningless to them.
