Only teams currently in ECNL or ECRL have that rule. Pre ECNL are not ECNL age yet.

Pre-ECNL would be u12 which does in fact play under ECNL, so the answer is yes. Even if it were no, leaving an ECNL club to jump to another that early only shows a lack of loyalty early and unless your kid is a post puberty superstar would not get time you think they would.

Like the poster before said, ECNL & Pre-ECNL are still different and have different policies despite the same parent organization.

Forgot to add, regions like Ohio Valley have Pre-ECNL starting as early as 2016s so of course there will be different policies than ECNL

so, with tryouts and player offers typically happening in the March/April timeframe every year, what is the process if a player wants to switch from 1 ECNL club to another?

Take that badge loyalty and shove it up your ass. If you are good enough after puberty you can fart in a bottle for payment. Focus on development. Cream will always rise.

So if a U12 player that has been with a club since they were 5 wants to leave, shows lack of loyalty? Hypothetically, would it be lack of loyalty if the club wants to cut or demote that same player if the club wasn't getting what they needed from that player?
