If ECRL keeps the traveling idea then they should have North Atlantic and northeast be a 1 and 2 league. Better teams are in 1 and lower teams are in 2. That way you play some better competition. Because right now both NE and NA have about 3-4 good teams and then rest are not. Combine the good teams and put the bad teams seperate from them

I hate the travel and think it’s pointless though. So I rather play teams closer to me especially if my kid is in RL. Clearly they are not at the level to need the best of the best competition that I need to leave my state to go find it.
ECNL yes. But not RL. Keep it more localized.

That was exactly the point i was making. Say my point was MF Mercer or LVU instead. Whatever. Lets assume Copa drops - this is a fine "Regional" League to play in and don't need hotels or bloated EZ Pass bills for any of them.

HEX could go play with the MD and PA teams or WC and/or Force with some NY/CT league.

cant do teams - has to be clubs. I personally don't mind having a few weaker teams on the schedule. I just don't need to drive 4 hours to play them.

THIS right here...the travel is awful in GA. That needs to change or my family is out next season

Because most ECNL divisions dont just have a mirror RL division like North Atlantic. For example Virginia has its own RL and North/South Carolina has its own RL. The point of RL is to have more local teams with less travel.

They did, sort of, the conference was shifted to a north/south with SJEB, Real, Sporting, Keystone, Classics, Beadling, and Century in one and VA Rev, SYC, Skyline, TSJ, Armour, Celtic, and Coppermine in the other. The only cross-over is the 2 day event at Coppermine which is setup like a small tournament/showcase. So, aside from a weekend in Pittsburg we have away games against Keystone and Classics (which would have been even better had they been the same weekend as well) and everything else is about 30-45mins away except Coppermine which is a bout an hour.
