Any feedback after the ID Center should be given to the club director or coach from US Soccer. It typically takes a couple weeks for the feedback to get to the director.

A few words of advice: tell your daughter to be herself (easier said than done). She was selected for a reason. Try to have fun and enjoy the moment.

Thank you, I think she will be fine. She is excited to play with all these girls from other teams that she usually plays against. I agree, I think it will be a great experience for all kids attending.

Right. I was just saying that she was selected for a reason, meaning she’s clearly a talented player for her club to select. So she should go into the ID Center doing the things that made her club select her among however many players they recommended or selected.

That’s actually comical, I can see maybe 2 from Blue and no one from Delco . I guess the Delco director has pull . We know plus director does !!!

5 from RFA. How many girls total?

Coaches only recommend players from the team. US soccer makes the decision based on those recommendations but usually after watching the players in a game. So not all recommended players make the ID Center. If 5 made the roster from a team, I can almost guarantee the coach recommended at least 8 players.

The process is exciting for the girls and the parents but will also be very stressful. It’s also not fair to all. But that’s a given when you look at all the talent across the region and country within each age group. Some really good players never get called into an ID Center although they deserve it. You never know what a scout/coach is looking for or what types of players they prefer. Youth National Team or not, there are some talented players doing really well in this region.
