top flight of state cup is national championship series. (EDP 1 & 2, E64, NAL NEAL)
2nd flight is presidents cup. (EDP 3-5)
3rd flight is national challenger series. (EDP 6 & Below, Metro, MCYSA, MNJYSA, MOSA)
Deptford is an EDP 3 team... so they played in the Presidents Cup.

So they won the 2nd tier of state cup that excludes the top few tiers of top leagues. Got it, I guess it’s something to brag about.

Saw Deptford was listed in Acela for 2013Gs so that's a start (although after the "pre" teams left).

Kids in these 'lower' leagues know they are not stars. They are fully aware of the levels 'above' them. But they enjoy playing soccer and get the same competitive thrill as people in the 'top' leagues, even if the technical skills are not as good. Plus, it's all a passing phase anyway and all these kids will be finished by their 20s.
