    HS coaches

Looking for opinions on girls high school soccer programs based on coaches and daughters experience-not necessarily looking for the ‘most winning’. Just looking for a decent program. Obviously a private school and academics need to be a priority.

Wish I could afford that for my daughter but probably need to be 15k or under per year.

How good is your daughter? Some private schools are providing really nice aid packages for top players.

Under 15k for a good private school with a good girls soccer coach is not easy to find. Look for scholarships. Don’t look at Pingry scholarships don’t exist there

Pennington has the funds if she's good enough.

Why is it obvious that it must be a private school?

Only private schools are able to form teams close to the level of actual soccer. Public high school soccer is a complete joke outside the top 3-4 players at most. My kids have fun with it, but it is not real soccer.

Pennington will start the season top 5 nationally and could easily end #1 given their schedule.

yes and i know that. most don’t in this particular hs and think bc their kid is on the local daddy run travel squad which plays lower level edp think they are playing and be scouting by D1 coaches. Im looking for higher academic outcomes, smaller class sizes and better than mediocre soccer experience. Maybe just a coach that actually makes their own decisions without all the parents getting involved for starters and actual team leaders and captains and not an extension of the locally, daddy run debacle they call ‘elite playing’.
