Clubs on the Rise and Clubs on the Demise

Quite the opposite, my teams won the tournaments we took part of. I just thought it was a poor reflection on the NJ Premier club and their coaches, that they changed the rules from game to game and they acted like babies when their NJ Premier teams were losing. I gave my experience on this situation when someone else mentioned that club. Sorry my experience differs from yours, but it what i have seen at that location.

Guess you are close enough to NJ Premier to have them stealing players from you (unless you took a flight for a 5v5 or 7v7 fun tournament) and think your comments will make a difference

Being close to PDA is exactly why they should get it. Managing to put together competitive teams a stones throw away says all GA needs to know.

yea, but they are also close to STA, so they might have a problem with it. Both recruit heavily from western Union County, southern Morris Country and Eastern Hunterdon County

As do the other 10 clubs in the area. STA can’t compete with PDA. So let NJ Premier try their luck. This thread is about up and coming clubs. Not clubs that have established themselves already.

There will never be an up and coming club unless they get a badge. (Unfortunetly)

SJEB still a very good option for U11 and below. At U12 / U13 the teams start falling apart and just aren't competitive.

im a prent who coached things in winter and summer for fun. also parent of boys. no worries about stealing players, their boys teams are not good at all. the girls program is much better. people were asking for their experiences on clubs and i gave mine. sorry not every thinks every experience is positive and that hurts your delicate feelings.

Just chiming in here, but I dont understand what this has to do with the coaching. When would coaches of a club ever dictate the rules of a game? In any case, its going off topic, just really a strange commentary on a thread about rising and demising clubs. But what else can you expect on TS.

My 2 cents (and not affiliated in any way with these clubs), but esp if they get GA then NJ Premier will continue to rise since they are already known for development just havent had a chance to keep their players. Obviously FA is on the rise as well, seems like a lot of happy parents and good development. Ironbound looking better every year so another on the rise. Despite the supposed 'demise' of the big boys like PDA, Matchfit, STA, you know parents will continue to flock to them so don't really see much change happening until NJ parents wise up.

The coach overruled the refs and changed the rules. refs said fine since its your tournament to the coaches. different than the rules they have printed on thier website. its wasnt a change by the ref.

Is it the refs, the coaches, or the team? Does anything make you happy in life? Sorry your team lost in a 3v3 tournament.

On the girls side NJP have started build a solid pipeline especially younger ages. The teams are smaller and a lot more playing time. They offer a lot of opportunities year round to develop and if GA happens they will keep all their talent. ECNL will never happen bc of PDA, so getting into GA would be great and hopefully happens.
