the Mercer team is a mid tier ECNL level team. I wonder if they will ever get that badge.

If this birth year to school year change happens (and it seems like it’s a done deal), what are best 2012 options for my 2011 trapped player? Live in Monmouth county so trying to keep it somewhat reasonable. Plays on one of top ECNL/GA 2011 teams in NJ but not familiar with the 2012 landscape (best teams/coaches, etc)

High mid NL sounds about right with what that north atlantic looks like. They'll never get a badge though. Didnt they just get RL?

CSA, MFA Mercer and PDA shore are the 3 decent choices in that order. MFA shore is 4th.

It’s club vs club, not just one team can earn promotion

I wouldn’t even say pda shore or MFA shore. Both are in low level RL leagues and play kick and chase. If you currently play real soccer —- look at CSA or pda blue. MFA Mercer plays great soccer also…but they are also in a weak league (RL northeast)

Then it doesn’t solve the problem for trapped players now. I’m sure all age groups will apply the new rule. But I would imagine clubs keeping good players on teams and allow them to play up essentially

We’ll see this weekend when they match up again. Second meet up was a tie in WAGS final and went to pks.

What’s happening?? Did you expect something better? Everything is hidden because of the lousy competition they play.

As a Real parent, what more can I say? Another close game, another heart breaker for our girls. SJEB has a very strong team. You can’t zero in on any one or two players, it’s hurt us twice now. They are loaded all over the place but we are getting closer and closer each time out. Hoping 4th time’s a charm when we see them again. Good game yesterday!
