I keep seeing all these posts about NJ Blaze girls teams. My son played on a NJ Blaze Boys team last season, and I wanted to post that all these issues you read about the Blaze girls teams aren't just on the girls side. We had the exact same issues with FK and my sons team. We weren't comfortable with what he was teaching the boys, it wasn't anywhere close to what you would expect to be taught to 11 year olds. Alot of these kids were just finding their love for the game, and FK managed to destroy that love for a few, including my son. He would come home very depressed after practices and games, only for us to find out that FK was berating the kids and actually yelling at them and calling kids lazy and losers in front of the other kids. He treated the kids like they were grown men, expecting them to stand there and be screamed at in front of other players without any remorse. There was no one to complain to about this because FK was in charge. When we confronted him, he denied everything. We weren't the only parents to have these issues, a couple of other, even from different age groups, left on the boys side. All I can say is, be very careful about where you send your kid. Do your research and ask around. We went into Blaze blindly, believing everything FK told us, that he had a direct connection to the MLS recruiters, connections with college recruiters, the best coaches, programs, etc. He was very quick to put down other clubs, not just to the parents, but also the kids. We were led to believe that CSA and MF boys sides were inferior to the Blaze teams, that CSA and MF don't develop kids, and that Blaze would surpass them in training and development. He said those clubs couldn't care less about the kids, they were just numbers, and that Blaze was more of a family. How wrong he was. We learned the hard way. My son is now at one of the inferior clubs, and he has found his love for the game again.

The bashing of Blaze will never end until they fold.
There is so much hate between 3-4 clubs that are a stone throw away from each other.

Did you ever notice that whenever someone offers their experiences with NJ Blaze, Fausto and the one Blaze parent always resort to "it's because your kid didn't get enough playtime" or "your kid is just to soft"? Why can't fk realize some people just don't like his style of coaching? 4+ years and a thousand threads later, and it's always about a kid that didn't get playtime. Based on Blazes recent track record, it's plainly obvious that whatever he's been teaching the 09 girls team is not working. Why can't one single parent not have a good experience with Blaze? It always seems to be the kids fault, not FK.

And let's not forget the many others that left your teams because of the way you treated the kids. I wouldn't be surprised if it's that suck ass Candice from blaze defending fk and Blaze on here. I guess she's the new team mom since the one Fausto was screwing moved away.

The whole Blaze organization is a toxic environment, and on top of that, you have a guy running it who was fired from csa for inappropriate behavior and a team administrator that finds it neccessary to respond to every thread on here.
