Isnt blaze also getting regularly smacked around playing as Copa in ECRL? Where is all of the "USYS is a step above ECRL" and "ECRL is like EDP 4"? Where did Blaze play NJ Premier?

Is anyone surprised by this? Blaze has been taught to be a two headed monster up top with two players as the target. Tough and physical defensive players. Midfielders expected to play two way. Goalies are interchangeable in this style of play.
Well lets see. In the past year, this team has lost a stud up top due to injury. A solid midfielder/defender to injury. Another midfielder/defender due to leaving for a better situation. 4 defenders gone from the program, three of which were starters. A goalie who was under utilized. All departed players are thriving in current situations
Their replacements, have clearly not gelled well with the team and the game plan set for by the coach.. Not that they are bad players, they just don’t fit his system. You have seen that he is referred to as a joystick coach, nothing more apparent now. His antics are easy to hide when you’re winning against EDP teams.

He sabotages his teams with boneheaded decisions and screaming at his players. Kids deserve better.

After self reflection, I know that my message isn’t resonating. As a teacher of the game and mentor, my plan is to adjust my methods and way that I’ve been communicating. I will listen more than just direct and will ask for the player’s feedback. They are a talented group and I must adapt to create an environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and the freedom to express themselves on the field. Blame me for the recent setbacks. The players are working hard and engaged. It is I as the coach that needs to adapt.
