CJFA being taken over by Match Fit Shore?

Some CJFA families latent signing with MFA and decided to go to PSA Monmouth and now there is that other thread about a mass exodus from there.

Who cares. Not all of these kids are chasing badges and looking for college scholarships at the ripe age of 11/12. Some kids are good soccer players that like to play with their friends. If that means cjfa, psa, pda, MFA then so be it.

I couldn’t agree more. Go to the team that makes your D happy. They are the ones playing. Not the parents. Badges mean nothing. There are some terrible teams out there that have badges. If playing with friends is important, then do that. If staying with a particular coach is important, then follow the coach. Do what’s best for you.

MFA parents know from talk soccer or cjfa parents talking about it to them because cjfa coaches told their parents but MFA never sent out an email or announcement making it official. One age group is practicing together and some parents are so confused why we are practicing with cjfa. Would be nice for MFA to just announce it so parents know what’s going on.

multiple age groups at cjfa have MFA girls playing with them. Cjfa parents don’t seem happy about that. And honestly, they have every right to be annoyed by it. These kids are taking away playing time.

If MFA kids are playing with cjfa how is it a surprise to MFA when they see cjfa at their practice?! And also why would parents be mad about getting to play extra soccer for free on cjfa???? Sounds like the only ones who should be confused and mad are the cjfa kids and parents whose kids are on the bench watching players from another club playing on a team they didnt pay for. Shame on that coach. Thankful my kids don’t have to deal with either of these messy clubs! lol

I've never understood why the girls side of clubs is so rigid with spots on the top team.

It’s going to play out exactly how everyone knows it will play out! I’d be surprised if it even actually comes to fruition. The coaches are calling parents who declined the merge to reconsider. Pathetic

it’s absolutely pathetic. No one wants to go to MFA shore because the training is horrendous compared to other clubs in the surrounding areas. I don’t blame them for not wanting to go to MFA shore. I hope all those cjfa players find another club to call home. Don’t go to MFA. They suck and only care about your tuition payment not the kids.
