It depends on the club’s enrollment but most clubs are acquired for low to mid 7 figures.

200 kids x $2,000 = $400,000

Over 5 to 10 years that money is easily recouped. The new club also hopes to capitalize on additional income from their new players by enrolling them in camps throughout the year.

I agree. If this was true .. they have that choice to try out where ever they want. Whether it’s another academy or a town team. They shouldn’t have to feel like they have to go to MFA shore.

Umm ok, I was simply replying who cares that these KIDS may be trying out for other clubs and these KIDS are allowed make that choice instead of feeling forced into one that was made for them. But thanks for your interest in my comment, super insightful! Cool, Have a great day!

It is about letting the kids decide what they feel comfortable with AND since the adults have to foot the bill and do all the traveling and planning, yea it is cool. The fact that people care so much about what other people are doing is showing the insecurities and defensiveness. Clearly this merge is not what was expected.
