Hazlet got in bed with cjfa and it blew up in their faces. Nothing left there now but rubble.

I really wonder how many of these CJFA families stick around? mFS isn’t going to change the way they do things to accommodate them, so it’s either conform or find a new team at this point.

What would they need to change? Pay your tuition, go to practices, go to games. It’s pretty simple.

If they need to keep the bodies they will have to convince the CJFA families they are better off with MFS. CJFA is cheaper, I believe they do an extra day of training for speed/conditioning. Take the 2012 girls… CJFA has a team and so does MFS. MFS might not care if they lose some of them. But they need some of the older teams. What does it accomplish if you merge and then lose all the players?

Nothing is simple. This transition isn’t going to be seamless. Can’t just pick up a club and plop it somewhere else and say nothing is changing. That’s impossible. The CJFA girls are being used for whatever plan is in place between the two R’s and SL. I’m sure a small amount of the girls may benefit from this, but those girls have already been double dipping, so what’s the difference? This whole situation is suspect and it will be really interesting to see how this all actually plays out.

If the teams don’t come over, Ryan has to come up with a plan B to get two teams. Maybe he will start an affiliation with another town. They don’t care about any of these kids. All they care about is getting ECNL which requires two teams per age group. Once they get ECNL, most of these kids will get replaced anyway so who cares if they come now or look elsewhere now because once the badge comes, most of the girls will be paying ECNL prices to play EDP. Because if anyone thinks that their current A team will be the ECNL team, they don’t know anything about ECNL.

And if their team did stay the same for ECNL… we’ll you will be traveling so far to get your as$es whipped every week. Some parents are so naive.

Being you referenced the 2012 team—— half that team was leaving last year because of poor coaching and then they stayed because of changes promised to them that were all false until 6 months later. Now it seems like those girls are staying from what I gather. But knowing that team…and their record, and their talent compared to other teams at MFS, that will be the first team to get rid of majority of their players if they get ECNL. Those parents are probably so stupid and think they will make it. Maybe 2 will make it. ECNL requires putting in the work and doing extra and working hard. If you ever seen these girls at practices, they don’t try hard (besides a few) and majority play other sports where they don’t have time to even attend every MFA practice.they are also not technical. So that’s another skill ECNL will have.

So if they think they are making any ECNL team… they need to get a reality check. And that goes for other age groups also. They may be doing well against low level teams, but ECNL is 10x better than the competition they go against in the league and tournaments they enter.

CJFA will ensure their friends are taken care of.

Who says the girls are staying? I would be interested to know how many contracts have actually been signed. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any assumption that the girls are just going to play ECNL, in fact they were told they were going over and remaining EDP. Those girls may not be up to par with MF in your opinion, but they do work hard and they are dedicated. So, maybe it is a coach issue and not a player issue. This whole situation is ridiculous.

What a mess, all designed by rt. He created a mess when he merged mf with Tom's river boca. Don't give any of this a chance

I’d be surprised if the cjfa team actually goes. If they wanted to be on a real club team why would they go cjfa in the first place?! They probably wanted the small club environment where the training and coaching is decent. Turns out their small club management is just as slimey as the rest of the big club management with this sell out to MFA. Hopefully those parents know better and don’t get hoodwinked. I’ve seen it happen too many times. Suckers!

The comment about not making an ECNL team is not towards cjfa. I know they will be EDP right now. I’m talking about current MFA shore teams. They are not at the level as ECNL teams are. Those are the girls and families who are blind and think they will be ECNL if they stick around when in reality, most will be replaced by better players so the current team will stay at ECRL or EDP.

Plain and simple, they’re sold a bag of goods.

What so called friends are you talking about? Do you mean the ass kissing soccer moms that are up Ralph’s ass?

It’s just cjfa assuring their parents that they will make sure the cjfa girls are taken care of. But after the first year… you can forget about that. Who is to say that the cjfa coaches are staying after a year.
