Word is that 2012 MFA shore girls will be merging with CJFA for ECRL next year. RT must be desperate. Isn’t that team not good?

Whether “The Shore” is a good program or not has been debated to death. But, CJFA hasn’t been around long enough. Name recognition matters. Why would any of the MFA parents agree to join them? And if you were a CJFA parent, how many of you are wondering if your kid will be the one that doesn’t make the cut? My understanding in that MFA has around 12 players, but CJFA has 15/16. Way to many for a simple merge.

Thank you for clarifying. I had heard 12. So then there really is no point to “merge” that age group. You would end up with close to 30 kids.

I wonder what will happen with MFA Mercer 2011. There are quite a few good players on the team, they won EDP-1 in the fall and are part of a club that thinks these Club v Club leagues are the greatest thing in the world. Those girls will probably just leave after the spring. Wonder if there will be a "Female U13 - 13G North Atlantic Club v Club" in the spring with good enough competition for them to join

If MFA wants to put out a good team then that is what they should do. And maybe add about 5 shore girls if they are still playing with MFA by then.

I think they were referring to the 2012 team because that’s prob the only age group better than shore right now
