You DON’T need recruiting agencies evaluating you at events for College Soccer.

YOU DON’T NEED RECRUITING AGENCIES TO GET RECRUITED FOR COLLEGE SOCCER.

Especially if you’re an MLS Next, ECNL, or GA or any club team member that attends showcases where there are HUNDREDS of college coaches in attendance to see you.

Recruits of all club initials please save your money!

In the recruiting process you have to be seen in person, on film, or both, but preferably in person.

There are recruiting agencies taking credit for “helping” when it was the recruit’s club team/showcase exposure in front of colleges that got them recruited.

These same recruiting agencies complain how you don’t need Ecnl, GA or MLS Next but yet they’ll attend their showcases to con families out of money. Why, because kids with those club initials are likely to be recruited ON THEIR OWN so they are likely to take credit for it.

Save your $2,500 and attend tournaments, ID camps, and invest in quality film! You’re NOT getting ahead by spending $2,500 on these agencies mass emailing colleges or “calling” on your behalf.

Don’t believe the false claims on social media. It’s being seen in person by COLLEGE COACHES that get’s you recruited.

Yeah you don’t need it. It’s also a lot of work and if you don’t know what you are doing or know the game, there’s someone offering a service for a fee. I don’t work on cars, so pay others handsomely to do it for me. Just how it goes.

Players get recruited through their own hard work. There's no shortcuts in this, unless you're a top 25 national player with coaches fawning over you.

A club should

-help you target good fits for you as a player
-make (or receive) phone calls about you
-answer questions from players and parents as they arise
-make sure all players get good PT during showcases

If your club isn't doing that why are you there?

All the rest is on the player. They have to make their academic + soccer target list, create a short highlight reel and resume, reach out to programs and stay in touch, play their guts out at showcases or ID events. No agent will or can do that for you.

The only family I know that made this mistake had a kid who wasn't even a starter on the HS team. Needless to say they never played in college

The obes that attract quality players, keeps them and has players that succeed in college. Since you asked it sounds like your club isn't, so why are you there?

Without paying the bogus recruiting fees that Match Fit is trying to do, especially since DB, JR and RL are the laughingstock on the girls side in the ECCL, no college coaches respect them at all. Before paying those BS recruiting fees, ask yourself this question, with so many D1 and D2 colleges close to MFA, why don’t you see them at training sessions or home games? Don’t be fooled be their lies. It’s all about the $$$$$ at Natch Fit, not about the players.

Are players reaching out to those programs? Coaches don't come watch for sh*ts and giggles. They want to see players that reach out to them first.and express interest. Besides you'll only get super local colleges at a local game unlessi it's a top player. The ones further out wait for showcases for efficiency.

Now, if players are reaching out and no one comes then it's possible they are aiming too high. Bad targeting, poor club reputation or a bit of both? Can't say.

Then why are you there? If they can't do the bare minimum for their most important job (at least it is during the recruiting process) you are being scammed. My oldest wasn't even at a top club when they were deep in it and their coach made/received multiple calls and kept us informed of conversations.
