I'm curious at what age and from where the World Class teams begin to come together. In the U-Littles they are not a competitive team. But I know they become one very quickly by the time they are in high school. At what age group does their roster transform and curious if you know what towns or teams the girls come from? This is not a trolling post. I know World Class is great. I'm curious how they get there as other clubs like SUSA are already strong at younger ages.

The girls from worldclass usually trickle in from surrounding areas ie clarkstown and bergen county. Some have come from much further to take advantage of ecnl. Worldclass teams usually reach their maximum strength by 9th grade and begin to get worse by 11 grade. Thats is because of the training and not because of the players.

Like most ECNL clubs the consolidation of talent takes place U12-U14. Better players want to play with other good players and against strong competition so they and move into the top leagues. So a club may have some original U little players on their top team but will also take talent from elsewhere. They take players they think will make the teams stronger. Some players that have been at a club a long time just won't make the cut or decide they sont want it.. They either are less gifted, don't put in the work or have other activities that distract. The greatest coaches ever can't train that away.

How do they do at the older ages? How are the trainers at the hs ages? I saw the 07s went to Nationals but did the other ages make it?

Some girls leave WC to go to MatchFit, but that's usually WC ECRL player leaving for an opportunity to play MatchFit ECNL.

I’m not trolling here but WC really don’t develop their players but are the best recruiters in the game. People buy into the facility and the ECNL badge. The coaching here is very mediocre but Kaz is a strong recruiter. They also use the Teaneck Armory to get player’s information as they have players sign waivers. There is a connection there.

recruiting leads to better groups of players which leads to development, at least for the ones who are able to stick
