That's not how it works in most sports, conferences school teams or college. Boys can't pick just because they want to - and 99.99% of straight boys won't want to play on a girls team no matter how good the team is.

When I was in school a boy had to sue to try to get onto the field hockey team and it was looked on as crazy. Now they sue to keep them off....
