I think 2010 have talent up and down the state, but US Soccer will rely on big clubs to do the leg work for them, so you will see kids from PDA and some other giants get the preference for their kids, while blocking others. It would require work to go out and do the scouting or watch the videos. Unfortunately, the word of a few Technical Directors (who could have a lot of different incentives to promote kids) over actually judging the talent. Every year there are kids who have no business going, but that is the broken system we have.

I agree with you point at the younger ages. But I kinda feel at the
2010 age most, if not all, the top kids have migrated to PDA and/or MF. Maybe an outlier here or there?

If you’re a 2009/10/11 in Jersey and want decent soccer then PDA blue/south/white , MF Morris and SJEB are the only options. Everywhere else is just sub par soccer. Dump and run to the one fast kid on the team and hope she scores.

ECNL: 28 wins, 3 of these wins were ECRL teams beating a GA team.

GA: 19 wins, 1 of these wins is a GA team bearing an ECRL team.

7 ties.

A few games were lopsided wins (by 3 goals or more) but for the most part. All seemed like decently played matches by scores.

For the 07 age group the GA defeated the ECNL 7 times. Ecnl defeated the GA 6 times and there was 1 draw. Didn't include any RL teams. Arguably the most important age for recruitment.

In the top group PDA won both games vs GA. World Class went 1 & 1.

NYSC was 0-2 with no goals for the weekend. TSJFCV won saturday vs WC. TSJ has also played an entire fall season having started w September. NY/NJ teams started practicing last week amd dont even have all
ayers back from HS yet.

As far as the top 07s go, that isnt the dunk GA want it to be.
