Trap players or No players don’t make much difference at the end of the day except for people looking for excuses. Trap players are permitted under league rules… people that wrongly assume trap players make the BIG difference btwn winning or losing should go get their team some trapped players.

This was supposed to be a thread for weekend scores but people are here getting caught up with trap players like it’s a new invention or the catalyst to team performance.

falling apart, kids aren’t improving, we’re all fighting with original crew vs new pickups, and parents are all delusional, especially new ones.

A parent on PF shared the same thoughts with me last week.

PF is not using trap players, at least that’s what they told us at parent meeting. Is not right to the current team players and is not good for overall team chemistry, and has very little benefit, that was the official explanation.

Very little benefit unless your kid is the one who has to miss half a season of soccer because of when she was born.

Stop crying and be proactive. Find something for her to fill that gap in schedule, hire a coach for a few hours a week or go on YouTube and research practice that you can do for her. The easiest way is to relay on others, it is your kid. In addition, most of the clubs let them practice with year below. It is also not a fair to kids on current team to loose their playing time because of older kids don’t have a chance to play.

Get a 5v5 trapped player league where people can pay $3K to travel 6 hours round trip to win or lose 9-0. This would make everyone happy, right?

Practice with the younger team in the club, 3 times a week, no need to play game on weekends. You benefit more than your teammates that play and practice with the useless HS coaches.

Obviously PF can’t score. But how did they do at SUSA tournament and did they lose to or tie any ranked teams? Are they performing as expected? We already know the answer but curious what u say as excuse for implosion and sub standard performance. A joke of over rated kids and parents who think they’re all olympians.

They beat SUSA 2-0, FC Stars White 1:0 and lost to World Class SC 1-2.
