That’s the list. Include both Morris Pre ecnl blue and white teams and those are the best 2013 teams. However, These teams will likely all be in the two premier 1 red/blue anyway, thus expanding to the top 16-20 teams. I agree the two top divisions dilutes a bit.

Yep both matchfit morris teams are good but I didn’t include it in the thread post because people will think that im a matchfit parent that thinks that the B team is as good as top teams which Matchfit Morris B team is Top 7 or Top 8 for 2013 Girls.

It's odd, the 'White' team that is listed as being the team that played at this year's DTS Winter Invitational looked a heck of a lot like the Blue team. I'm sure someone will explain.

Yup and its not just for that age group its for all age groups Under 13. I feel like a few ways to fix this is counting future league games, not ranking small tournaments with lower division teams, and not giving free points each team you beat a team. I think this would help improve rankings

If you look at the 2012 age group it’s the same - if they put World Class, Matchfit, FA Black, SJEB, Real and potentially Freehold/Cedar stars Monmouth in the same flight, that would be the best teams in the state. Now they’re separated and having to play low level teams but then teams like PDA and STA will be dropped out and that won’t look good in recruiting purposes.

It would also mean coaches and teams are solely playing to win but at this age group it should be about developing the player - results shouldn’t matter and I honestly would prefer if they weren’t even posted then you would see what coaches rotate positions/try to play the correct way etc.

Next, What happens when your Freehold town travel team have 4 girls pick up and move to MFS, CSA or Blaze? That’s why coaching input matters. Last, these are really young kids. I’ve seen kids get blown out, then turn around and beat that team in the next tournament. It’s why they don’t post the Futures scores. This is a developmental age.

I understand your point but it’s better to get these 11 year olds used to competition it helps them improved at soccer and have experience. Also my concept was to put 6 teams and all teams play 10 games home and away against each team.

The expansion of Acela League to both boys and girls will provide a great platform for even more experience and competition.
