Wow. Delusional. It’s easy to lie to someone that wants to believe. That statement is testament to that.

Many parents want to believe their Sally is or will be the next superstar. Why do you think there are so many “elite” clubs and leagues when the reality is only a small percentage are truly elite and the rest just taking everyone for a ride??

For the record the vast overwhelming majority of D1 athletes are from highly successful clubs/teams. D1 awaits very very few kids.

With the majority of them receiving partial scholarship. Only a small few receive full rides.

2% go on to play D1 apparently. Chew on that sobering statistic for a bit.

For the most part, yes. A recreational team that spends $6,000-$10,000 a year to play.

Without the fun it’s a chore. If the girls are enjoying themselves that’s the #1 thing. More important than winning, results, stats. ECNL seems to be focused on that and it’s a lot more cut throat, taking the full enjoyment out of the game. Too much pressurisation. Without willing participation and a love for the game, well you have no game. Need to keep the kids involved and active.

That right there is what youth sport should be about. Way too much pressure and expectation by the parents take all the fun away from the girls having fun. No matter the results!

That’s way too much, aren’t the fees around $4,000? That’s not too bad for a whole year of great training and competitive matches.

Even less than 4k it’s a really great value especially when so many clubs charge just as much and don’t offer the same level of play and training as CSA. Playing and training against the best of the best is key to getting better.

A great value to play mediocre soccer with a roster stocked with cast off B and C level soccer talent, coached by a joystick ego maniac.

                              Sounds more like NJ Blaze.

Blaze would beat CSA Monmouth by 3 goals
