Imagine this, a bottom 3 club gets relegated to RL and they decide to leave for GA. That next year the GA clubs beat up on that club almost as bad as the ECNL ones did. Who looks worse?

GA and USYS/EDP do things very differently, one is Club v Club while the other is Team v Team. Moving up from USYS by a club means they excelled at some point in either USYS, DPL or some other league around the country. Same thing happens for ECNL, they pick from clubs that were in either RL or GA. As for why ECNL clubs don't just go to GA, well sparky, ECNL still has that high class gloss on it. People are willing to pay for the dream of making it to a top soccer school. Notice ECNL hasn't put out a complete college impact statement since 2019. Most top schools choose players from nearby clubs or best of the best clubs (think top 3 or 4 at Nationals). The rest of ECNL doesn't do anymore than what the top half of GA clubs do in terms of college impact. But, believe what you will, if you think that the patch will open doors other clubs couldn't then by all means do what you want.
For the tri-state area there are top ECNL - PDA Blue, SUSA and below average ECNL - PDA White, South, EMSC. Depending on the age. Same with GA - top NEFC, STA , bottom Cedar Stars Bergan (except 07). What is interesting is that the ONLY player from the entire tri-state to get called to YNT camp is a GA NYSC player. And this is after more than 1/2 of the ECNL and GA's in the area attended the ID clinics. That says A LOT.

Tremendous players. What other club in NJ developed 3 national team players? Just no comparison to PDA. Or ECNL for that matter.

IMO should have had another. Surprised AH didn't make the full squad one of the best I have seen for 06.

You are both right and wrong....At the youth levels the teams are fluid and have large camp rosters which are then made into event rosters. Some play during one event but might not play another. Some continue to play multiple events while others just don't come back for whatever reason.

Your saying PDA rep wasn't just at the WC?

Well they did use the wrong birth year for their example so outright wrong in the rebuttal but yes it is a fluid roster.

PDA could easily have 5 or 6 on various National teams!

i don’t think PDA can take credit for SB. Her formative years were with Cryer and now she plays at PDA.

If you went by who taught them how to play soccer almost none of the clubs in this area and especially PDA could take credit for the formative years. All the clubs do is aggregate talent they don't create/develop it to the extent they are selling it.
