Really Poor Referees, no control

Sounds like quality of ref matches the quality of fans and quality of play

I overheard a parent from the other team tell the person he was with "when that girl gets the ball they should just foul the sh1t out of her". We have skillful players and they play good soccer, some teams get frustrated and and resort to physical playing. I personally have heard more parents inviting violence than coaches.

Last week I heard a father telling his daughter (at the start of 2nd half) that "the ref is not calling anything so can do anything she wants" ...his daughter gave him a look and he repeated that she can really get away with anything...

To the girls credit she did not follow his advice ...but this happens all the time.

Depends on the school soccer program but most games played are really bad soccer to watch

And if the ref isn't calling anything does that mean dad was wrong even though he was correct? I would say the same thing. You take what they give you.

Only a couple good programmes out there like Freehold, Rutgers Prep, Hunderton Central etc. the rest are really a poor watch even when they win. That’s HS soccer for ya.
