If your club kid ever doesn't play in HS make sure you let the other parents know that you requested that they play less due to the demanding club schedule and training. By alerting them about the club play you are establishing superiority and setting the record straight that HS is much lower level.

As the summer turns to fall and scrimmages turn to games, let the “yeah, yeah” cry loud!!!

Excited to hear all the new "yeah, yeahs" after summer camps, ID clinics, etc. Nothing better than hearing that club and private training war cry on the HS field. It confuses the heck out of the non club kids.

Now that the HS season is over, I can’t wait to be surrounded by like minded parents who understand me and my child.

I thought this thread was dead. I enjoyed not having to read all the stupidity that's posted here in an attempt of humor. Please go away you are not funny.

I actually like this thread and think some of the jokes could actually help parents understand their sideline idiocy. I think some parents don't realize how embarrassing they are for their kid.

I think it is very amusing and very true. If you find this thread offensive you should consider reevaluating your behavior.

We make our players watch film to see the things they did right and wrong which they often thought happened differently in real time. I think I may start having a second cameras on the parents and make them watch the film to disect their game day behavior. I think this could actually be a really good idea.

The girls too can set themselves apart. When looking to receive a pass the move should be both arms extended, waist level and palms up. But the critical thing to do is to say "Yeah, yeah". It can't be any other words. Say it quickly and repeatedly if needed. By saying these words in this manner it shows others that you aren't just another player on the field, you play club soccer and you receive private training. Even if you mess up the receipt of the pass people won't hold you accountable. You are a club soccer player!

Patience is a virtue…the PDA Showcase is this weekend. There will be plenty of “yeah, yeah” to go around.

Step up your game. You need ECNL gear, not club gear. That way you strike fear into anyone who sees it and they will know you are superior. You will be so confident that you dont need to show Club colors. just league dominance.

Players and families are to use descriptive and precise adjectives to clearly state the type of event they are attending so that there is no confusion about the importance of the event and why it’s better than anything others are doing.

I play this position for my “ECNL/GAL” team but play this position on my other team.

I have training with my “ECNL/GAL” for “club/team”. (Make sure to add the color of the team.

                                I have an “ECNL/GAL” game with “club/team/color”.

We are competing at an “ECNL/GAL” tournament “out of state (emphasized) with “club/team/color”.
