My vacation move, and its a good one, is to video my kid on the beach playing soccer. I post it to FB and caption it something like "love her determination" or "training never stops.. even on vacation". Sometimes she only plays for like 2 mins but the video makes it look like she is constantly working. People eat that crap up.

SSP parents stick with IG and Twitter and buy bots to increase exposure. It’s the oldest trick in the book.
Must have cones, ladder, volley net, rebounder…etc
You only post incredible videos, even if it takes 30 retakes.
Unfinished basement background really emphasizes the grind. Think of a setting like Rocky IV in the barn.

I am really looking to enhance my kid's "brand". I try to stage the photos so the look gritty. It appeals to coaches. One time I accidentally took a training video with my giant SUV and our pool in the background... I had to do some serious damage control.

My daughter has been working on her post scoring celebration move. It’s important to get this down becuase some time the video from the tournaments isn’t the best. This way she is easily identifiable to all scouts watching. Just another level of branding.

I just bought 3K worth of cameras and editing equipment so I can produce videos for my kids highlight reel. Multi camera angles. The first part of each video is customized with her walking onto each schools field. You gotta out your kid to thee top and crush all the other kids in the way. #soccerislife

Don't forget you have to lean hard into the refs. They do not know what they are doing and for the $30 they are making for the game they really appreciate all the help from the sidelines. It is especially important that multiple parents from the same team are yelling different things. You know you did a good job if you finish watching the gamer peering through the other side of the fence or the parking lot. #winning

How has no one mentioned the quickness of SSPs yelling "handball" to congratulate their speedy eyes and brilliance in understanding that a spherical object grazed an appendage of a child.

Guys, for those of you who have multi sports superstar children please remember that the Club Soccer magnet should be the most prominent on the car. Just like the flag- the Club Soccer magnet should be the highest. It is fine to have others (even the dreaded LAX) as it shows the world that your kid is an athlete and can pick and choose his/her sport. But please don't disrespect club soccer by making it look like just any other sport.

The Kit is everything. It doesn't matter if you can play the game, 90% is looking the part. Its all about fashion... and smoke and mirrors. Loses can be blamed on a number of things but if you don't loo like a real squad then you are a loser. Club teams understand this concept. That's why they can charge an astronomical cost even if the coaching is horrible and despite that fact that your kid will NOT receive a scholarship. Make a bad pass and the coach might scream but if you don't wear the appropriate "kit" you will be ridiculed.

Great point with sweatshirt. It serves two purposes. the purchase gives more money to the club and wearing it promotes the club and therefore gives more money to the club. Winning and coaching does not matter. No one will remember the team's record but they will see the team looking the part as assume they are legit.
