What’s up with Copa girls? It seems that their older teams are quite good, but the 2011 and 2010 are in low divisions and do they even have a 2009?

2011s look like they play in a rec soccer league, not sure about 10s

It’s not a sprint but a marathon. Clubs go through cycles. With Elite-64 status next season, the talent pool and pipeline at those ages will increase and over time they will be fine. Copa’s been at it for many years and constantly evolving and innovating. It’s a tough business with people expecting immediate results. It’s not as if the older teams were overnight sensations. They took time to build.

Sit back and enjoy the ride. If your kid is happy, playing, learning, and competing, then you are ahead of the game. Plenty of kids quitting the sport because of lunatic parents and coaches.
