She would surely have been less recognized being the best player somewhere else (sarcasm alert). Do you think her sister going to Rutgers had any impact or those 3 years at PDA were what got her over the top? And FYI PDA doesn't send any kids to college nor does any other soccer club.

Real? Hysterical that the Real grass roots marketing is trying to get a buzz going about Real on this thread. If you are on a team coached by the owner you might be ok. Other than that it's the same money grab, Zero culture....and horrible, really terrible coaches.

For 09 age group it would be:
1) SJEB
2) Real
3) South

SJEB in GA playoffs. South will never be in any playoffs. Real TBD.

Go with PDA South. SJEB plays out of East bumble**** NJ. ECNL
is top league. GA is a second tier league and is now even more diluted with the recent expansion.

PDA South is like the bastard child of PDA and ECNL. If you only ever want to play in ECNL showcases then go there. If you want to play in GA playoffs in front of some actual college coaches then go to SJEB.

SJEB might get looks from coaches at Rowan but that’s about it.
All their good players leave and head over to PDA.
A random tournament this past December had 62 college coaches there. From Princeton to Penn State to Umass to the Florida Gators. Not to mention Rutgers ! Won the big10. Final 4 of National
championship. 4 PDA South alum on the team.

Ds has been to both clubs and hands down, especially at the younger ages ie u14 and below, would send her to SJEB. They have the better training by far. PDA South was 2 days a week with very little actual training and mostly small sided scrimmages and full scrimmages with the R: team an age up and ECNL team an age below. PDA South is NOT PDA Blue so your kid will not get the same looks they do when they go to showcases. PDA South did no winter training and offered nothing outside of Akka and frowns on ie will retaliate against your kid, if they go to any unapproved training which is anything not provided by them. Real is also a good option since they have gotten GA. Other places depending on where in SJ you are are Sporting DE in Wilmington, Penn Fusion and FC Delco in PA.

This is the same parent/s that comes on TS and says the same punch lines. Bashing PDA South. They are miss guided, stupid and bad for youth soccer. Enjoy Real. Your D is going to suffer and it’s going to be all your fault. It’s a shame. As a parent we are glad they are not with the club anymore. See you at U18 ! and we will see who’s pathway is more proven. If she’s still playing. We stand with PDA and PDA South. Yes we are not PDA North! My D’s club is PDA South, says it on jerseys. PDA / PDA South/ PDA Shore have a culture/identity that’s in the DNA of all three that the others clubs can’t touch. Contrary to this parent I think all teams trained x2 per week (when they could get outside) and girls did futsal and/AKKA select /FT training/ MaX training/ DM etc. They don’t allow outside stuff behind the back of team and sneaky. PDA South does so great job balancing training with great trainers , life as a kid /other sports and doing training at home. My D knows she has to train at home everyday or her spot or minutes will reflect the work she puts in. PDA is not for everyone but since I have been at the club I have seen:


1. The success of our cousin at the college level who told us about PDA . She was captain. All conference. All region.DIII
2. college coaches visible watching teams or players regularly which is cool. One coach even came to my D practice and spoke to them. And No not the College coach all ready on PDA Coach staff.
3. I’ve see seen professional players developed through the system come back and train in with older teams. One who has been with the club since she was U12/U13.
4. Carly Lloyd used the PDA South older teams environment to train. NOT PDA North but The PDA South environment to get herself back in shape for international competition. She wasn’t at the barons or real girls 04s/MLS next boys team. She was at PDA South.
5. CL personal trainer also coaches at the pda south club and he is also very good.

I would suggest never listen to these bashing idiots and go to an actual practice and see yourself.

This is very possible. It’s impressing to see how quickly Real has improved on the girls side.
