Have ECRL players already been told they’re being cut? Or are offers out? Trying to decide if it’s worth the time to attend tryouts.

Not sure what age group you are looking at but 2011 and 2012 will be new to the Manchester location. If they are an 07 or 09 I would consider attending the ID nights and ask to attend some training sessions. I don't think any of the skyblue teams are set at this point in time.

Offers are out for good amount of players to lock them into they don’t shop.

What about the 2007 team? The rumor was the Aztec girls are coming for those spots. But the existing team has offers?

Most of Aztec girls have offers for their spots already.

Thanks for clarifying. I misunderstood and thought the existing Skyblue players had offers.

Why are there still tryouts if most of the teams are already set?

Teams are always looking for one more I would t see why this would be different.

I hope that parents and players understand they are driving all over the northeast to get NAL level competition.

It is really a shame that the clubs are such greedy selfish buttheads. They should have combined the teams at the NAL / ECRL2 / DPL / EDP levels into one league with reasonable travel.

And Florida! People and coaches care about a badge and something to sell. It’s all a game every year. The clubs won’t figure it out as they are all about themselves it’s a business

Even worse are their gestapo-like tactics where they knocked down our door and dragged my kid to training sessions.

None of the Seacoast teams will make the playoffs and they are light years away from a champions league spot. Some of the border players will be jump ship and joining the new nefc North academy team.Their Dpl teams are no longer even in the dpl and the 8 team NAL league has already lost two teams with rumors of another leaving. Fc Stars in Nh added a few ecrl regional teams but that operation is still not taken seriously. The Aztec teams in the Nashua/Tyngsboro area were always a decent product but 3step ruined them and there are stories of kids already leaving and there are rumors of a mass exodus. For the very best players in the state it’s probably worth the hour plus drive to Lancaster to play for a national team but realistically that might only be 3-4 kids per age group. For the other 99% there just aren’t any teams that seem to have a really good,STABLE program that has a promising future. If Fc Stars put just a little effort into New Hampshire they could consolidate a lot of this mess and take over the state in a very short period of time.
Putting a different spin on this.

Ten years ago, NH teams who went to regionals would get smashed by anyone that was not RI, VT, ME or maybe WV. Fast forward ten years, NH teams are now competitive with teams from different states all across the east coast.

So are the other states worse than ten years ago, or is the NH teams more competitive? To say they are worse because they are not at the top of certain platforms is unrealistic based on demographics compared to other bigger soccer hot bed states.

I believe soccer in NH has come a long way to what it was ten years ago, just my opinion.
